Profuse apologies for failing to do an update to the site at the end of July but I was on the Garland family holiday in Scotland at the time and since I got back I've been organising the Feltwell Millennium Photo Album Project. This involves a team of volunteers photographing every building in the entire Parish of Feltwell which includes all those houses out on the Fen and down at the Anchor. Approx 1000 photographs! The intention is to produce not only an album but also to get it all onto CD-ROM for future generations of amateur historians to use. And several of the photographs will go into the planned Village Guide which is pencilled in as next year's project. Of course some will end up on the web site in a complimentary section currently entitled 'Feltwell Now' - not very inventive I know but then it is succinct and to the point.
I intend to do a small update sometime around the middle of the month and then a bigger one at the end so keep visiting the 'What's New' page. I've not had many new Feltwellian contacts in the last few weeks, so if you know of anyone with a Feltwell connection who isn't registered please encourage them to e-mail me.
