75 Squadron material

Sqn Ldr Anthony Saunders

Served with 75 (NZ) Sqn and was based at Feltwell in 1941. 

Sadly he died on his 48th mission whilst serving with 156 Pathfinder Sqn based at RAF Warboys.

He is mentioned in the 75 Sqn history book published in NZ. David believe he also served on 7 Sqn Pathfinders and after 156 Sqn took a hammering, was posted there to make up the numbers.  Research he has completed in NZ has established which German nightfighter shot him down.  Amazing!

Additional information is required about the Wellington he is next to and the nose art which is a little odd!
